Abstract: The present invention provides a rainwater filter device to be installed in water pipelines. The rainwater filter device has a bypass line and a flush outlet. The bypass line helps in removing the collected water in the filter due to clogged pores of the filter mesh. The flush outlet is used to remove any collected impurities, dust and debris collected in the filter during the long gaps in rains. The rainwater filter device further comprises a main inlet, a main outlet, a filter mesh and a plurality of clamps.
The present invention generally relates to water filtering solutions and more particularly to a device for filtering rainwater.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Rainwater harvesting is a technique of collection and storage of rainwater into natural reservoirs or tanks. Rainwater harvesting is a sustainable process that helps in preserving rainwater for different purposes and for the future needs as well. Rainwater Harvesting is a method of collecting and storing rainwater to be used for various purposes while it can be used in future as well.
For storing the rainwater, there is a required a filter system that is able to remove the debris material and impurities from the water collected and makes this water usable for further various activities such as domestic use, irrigation, etc. This filtration treatment of rainwater is typically performed by the diversion of the first flush and the use of strainers to retain gross particles (e.g. leaves). To date, there is a lack of rainwater treatment systems with both high efficiencies to remove small suspended particles, and simple operation without energy consumption and associated greenhouse gas emissions.
Hence there is a need to develop a rainwater filtering system that is more efficient and easier to install.
In view of the foregoing, there is a need to develop a dynamic flocking substrate that is capable of producing various patterned brushes for vacuum cleaners.

DETAILED DESCRPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
The present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The various embodiments of the present invention provide a rainwater filter for use in pre filtering the rainwater collected from terrace of a building. The rainwater filter according to the present invention comprises a top inlet, a side outlet, a side
bypass line and a first flush outlet present at bottom. The rainwater filter is ideally suitable for all buildings.
According to FIG. 1 to FIG. 5, the rainwater filter device 100, comprises an upper body 101, a lower body 102, a filter mesh 103, a door cap 104, and a plurality of wings 105 for clamping. The upper body 101 houses a main inlet 106, a bypass outlet 107 and a filter mesh seater.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the bypass outlet 107 is connected with a bypass pipeline. The bypass line is for the water to pass through. This water arises when the filter is clogged or blocked due to dust and impurities.
The lower body 102 houses a main outlet 108 and a flush outlet 109. The flush outlet 109 is present at the bottom of the lower body or at the extreme bottom of the rainwater filter. The flush outlet 109 enables to flush out the dirt and impurities that are present in the pipe due to long gap between the rains. The lower body 102 has a bottom support for the filter mesh 103. The upper body 101 and the lower body 102 are connected.
The filter mesh 103 is housed inside the lower body 102. The filter mesh 103 is corrosion free. The filter mesh is made up of stainless steel. The mesh is made up of SS304 grade stainless steel.
A door cap 104 is present on top of the upper body 101.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, a plurality of wings 105 for clamping are provided. The inbuilt wings are provided in the body of the filter for clamping the product easily without any additional cost.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the main inlet 106 and the main outlet 108 are 110 mm which gives the optimum performance as per IS standard.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the main inlet 106 & main outlet 108 are having 110 mm sockets. The bypass line has 75 mm spigot. The flush outlet 109 is having an opening.
The rainwater from the terrace enters the main inlet 106, passes through the filter mesh 103 and then the filtered clean water goes to a storage tank through the main outlet 108. If the filter 103 gets clogged due to impurities, the blocked water passes to the drain through the bypass line.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, atleast four separate parts are assembled to make one product. The four separate parts comprise upper body 101, lower body 102, a filter mesh 103, and a door cap 104.
The filter 100 can be cleaned by opening the door cap 104 at top. The flush outlet 109 is facilitated by an opening at bottom. The wings 105 are used for clamping the product 100. The filter mesh 103 varies from 250 to 1500 microns in size. All our joints are solvent fitted.
Hence, the present invention provides a rainwater filter that is to be fitted in water pipeline. The rainwater filter has a bypass line that bypasses the blocked water by removing the water stored in the filter due to clogged pores of the filter. Without the bypass line, the blocked water may rise in the pipeline and flood the terrace and in severe cases, it may lead to pipeline getting collapsed.
The flush outlet at the bottom is provided for removing the dirt and impurities present in the pipe.
The rainwater filter of the present invention provides an easier installation for plumbers.
As will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art, the present invention may easily be produced in other specific forms without departing from its essential characteristics. The present embodiments is, therefore, to be considered as merely illustrative and not restrictive, the scope of the invention being indicated by the claims rather than the foregoing description, and all changes which come within therefore intended to be embraced therein.
