Abstract: According to World Health Organization, the annual mortality rate due to common flu which is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza virus is estimated to be 250000 to 500000; however, a 2017 study found a significantly higher mortality burden with an average of 470000 influenza-associated deaths from respiratory causes alone. Further, in 2020 the spread of corona virus which is more effective than the common flu led to deaths of more than 61 million people worldwide. The intermediate source of origin and transfer to humans is not known in case of contagious diseases, however, the rapid human-to-human transfer has been confirmed widely. However, research says temperature of the affected person can be used to analyze and early detect the presence of the illness. The proposed framework has two levels of providences: Firstly, it helps in easy tracking of all those people who has been in close contact with the affected person who has shared the common premises which is monitored by the admin with an IOT device. Basically, it eases the procedure of finding the person who has been tested positive by monitoring his temperature which is one of the primary symptoms of any contiguous diseases. Secondly, in case any person who have entered the premises gets tested positive, then the admin: the person monitoring the premises will be able to notify the same to all the other people who has entered that room or premises. Thus, all the other people could take the required measures at an early stage. Here, ESP8266 NodeMCU along with RFID-RC522 and MLX90614 temperature sensor is used to serve the purpose of IOT device. The firebase is used as a server and a real-time database. The android application is developed using MIT App Inventor
Description:As shown in the fig 1, the android application is used at the admin end who basically monitors the room by analyzing the available temperature data. The admin can send the text messages with the necessary precautionary measures; to the contact numbers that are registered with the respective RFID’s that are scanned while entering the room. The IOT device that is ESP8266 NodeMCU is provided with a RFID reader module which is set as a broadcaster to scan the available tags and a contactless temperature sensor to record the body temperature. Here, the list of the scanned RFID’s with their respective body temperature will be uploaded from the IOT device to the firebase which acts as a real-time database. The same data will be reflected in the android application to take necessary actions. Where there is a change in the firebase, the same is updated in the application. The android application will have features to view the date and time of when the users had entered the room and also the list of contact numbers of those entered the room to send text messages to perform necessary actions in the event of emergency , Claims:We claim that:
1. The proposed system claims to monitor the people entering the premises using a RFID based smart system and provide the necessary information by analyzing the available data.
2. The proposed system claims to authenticate the persons entering the room using the RFID Tag.
3. The proposed system claims to record the temperature of each individual after authenticating their respective ID’s.
4. The proposed system stores and assigns the temperature to the respective individual ID in the firebase real-time database and timely updates.
5. The proposed system claims to provide the real-time data to the android application and also enables the admin to send text messages with the precautionary measures to all the people who were present in the room or premises
