Seal Structure For Spool Type Switching Valve, And Said Spool Type Switching Valve

Abstract: [Problem] To provide: a seal structure for a spool-type switching valve, which is provided between a spool and a spool hole, the seal structure making it possible to implement smoother movement of the spool and also to extend the lifetime of packing; and a spool-type switching valve provided with such a seal structure. [Solution] The present invention is configured so that: the outer diameter Dp of packing 50 having a pair of seal sections 53, 54 at both side ends of the outer peripheral surface of the packing 50 is formed to be smaller than the diameter D0 of the slide surface 75 of a cylinder hole 7 in a state in which the packing 50 is mounted on the land section 26 of the spool 20; and in a state in which the outer periphery of the land section faces the slide surface and also in which compressed fluid is being supplied from an air supply flow passage 8 to a first space from among first and second spaces S1, S2 which are separated by the land section, the first space-side side end of the packing elongates in a radial direction Y because of elastic deformation caused by fluid pressure, and a first seal section narrows a gap d formed relative to the slide surface or comes into contact with the slide surface.
