Specification

The present invention provides smart sensors based seats in Metro train.
Background of the invention:
The following background discussion includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
Urban rail transit in India plays an important role in intracity transportation in the major cities which are highly populated. It comprises of rapid transit, suburban rail, monorail and tram systems. According to a report published in 2021, a total of 2,636 million people travel annually in metro systems across India's thirteen major cities, placing the country as one of the busiest urban rapid transit hub in the world in terms of ridership. However, senior person or person with disabilities still face problem in travelling because of unavailability of the seats. For instance, KR20160057550A discloses a smart seat system for providing differentiated services for a VIP customer who watches a sporting event or a concert. The smart seat system comprises: a ticketing card set to be used only for watching hours and having data on a designated watching seat; a ticketing system server for storing data on the designated watching seat of a purchaser who directly purchased a ticket on the internet or in a ticket office and data on undesignated watching seats; a watching seat connected to the ticketing system server through a network and consisting of a chair on which the purchaser can sit, a monitor unit installed in the chair, and a card reader unit for reading the ticketing card; and a smart seat system control server connected to the ticketing system server and each watching seat through a network and transmitting a signal to the chair of the watching seat to convert the chair into a state available for the purchaser when the designated watching seat of the purchaser stored in the ticketing system server corresponds to the information of the issued ticketing card at the time of the reading of the ticketing card of the purchaser by the card reader unit of the watching seat. Therefore, the smart seat system of the present invention can provide better services for the purchaser of the VIP watching seat by enabling the customer to sit on the chair of the watching seat only using the ticketing card issued

at the time of the reservation of the VIP watching seat to prevent the arbitrary seating of other persons and can provide user convenience by providing the watching seat with heating and cooling functions and internet, television, and ordering functions through the monitor unit..
Further, CN111007764A discloses an intelligent train seat which comprises a seat cushion, a main control module and an identity authentication module; the main control module is used for acquiring passenger basic information corresponding to the intelligent seat; the identity authentication module is connected with the main control module and used for acquiring passenger basic information of a passenger to be verified, verifying the passenger basic information of the passenger to be verified according to the passenger basic information corresponding to the intelligent seat and generating a verification result; one end of the main control module is connected with the identity authentication module, the other end of the main control module is connected with the cushion and used for controlling the cushion according to a verification result generated by the identity authentication module.
Another application, KR20100104946A discloses an intelligent seat system comprises a layered piezoelectric actuator (110), a signal processing unit, and a wireless transmitting unit and a charging unit. The layered piezoelectric actuator senses the occupied state of a seat. If the load is applied to the seat, the layered piezoelectric actuator generates the voltage value corresponding to the load on both ends. The signal processing unit receives the voltage value from both ends of the layered piezoelectric actuator and generates the load information corresponding to the voltage value. The wireless frequency wirelessly transmits the load information generated by the signal processing unit to an external server. The charging unit collects and charges the current from the layered piezoelectric actuator. The charging unit supplies the current as driving source of one or all of the signal processing unit and the wireless transmitting unit.
Thus, there is needed sensor based devices for senior citizens or disabled persons.
