Suspended Lighting System For Facilitating Light Distribution

Abstract: The present invention discloses a suspended lighting system for facilitating a light distribution between an upward and/or a downward direction, comprising: an elongated central lighting unit [102], a pair of reflector units [104,106]; and an adjusting mechanism [122]. The adjusting mechanism [122] includes a pair of adjusting units [108,110], each of which comprises: a pair of side caps [112,114] including a snap member [118], and fixedly attached to one of the ends of the pair of reflector units [104,106]; and a main end cap [116] including a central portion fixedly attached one of the ends of the elongated central lighting unit [102], and a pair of side extension portions pivotally attached to the pair of side caps [112,114], and defining a plurality of snap provisions [120] distributed in a circular manner. Engagement of the snap member [118] with the plurality of snap provisions [120], locks the pivotal movement of the reflector units.
