Abstract: The present invention provides a transparent display box for a product promotion and information display. The display box comprises an input module, a touch responsive output module, a wireless connectivity module, a sound output module, a memory module, a sensor module and a power input port. The input module with multiple input channels is connected to a processing unit through a plurality of input ports. The touch responsive output module is connected to the processing unit. The touch responsive output module is illuminated through an illumination panel. The wireless connectivity module interchanges a data between a portable computing device and the processing unit. The sound output module comprises a loudspeaker unit functioning in synchronization with a data input via the processing unit. The memory module is connected to the processing unit through a bidirectional data bus. The sensor module is connected to the processing unit for an automated display control.

Specification

Claims:1. A transparent display box for a product promotion and information display, the display box comprises:
an input module, wherein the input module with multiple input channels is connected to a processing unit through a plurality of input ports;
a touch responsive output module, wherein the touch responsive output module is connected to the processing unit, wherein the touch responsive output module is illuminated through an illumination panel;
a wireless connectivity module, wherein the wireless connectivity module interchanges a data between a portable computing device and the processing unit;
a sound output module, wherein the sound output module comprises a loudspeaker unit functioning in synchronization with a data input via the processing unit;
a memory module, wherein the memory module is connected to the processing unit through a bidirectional data bus;
a sensor module, wherein the sensor module is connected to the processing unit for an automated display control;
a power input port, wherein the power input port comprises a battery input port and a main power line input port.
2. The display box as claimed in claim 1, wherein the input module comprises a USB port, a HDMI port, a Low-voltage differential signalling (LVDS) port and an external memory card slot, wherein the USB port further comprises a mini-USB
port, a USB 2.0 port and a USB 3.0 port, wherein the USB port transfers the product information data from a portable computing device to the processing unit, wherein the LVDS port is connected to a Video Graphics Array (VGA) unit through the processing unit.

The display box as claimed in claim 1, wherein the input module further comprises an Infrared (IR) input unit with a remote control unit, wherein the processing unit receives a data simultaneously from the input module and the wireless connectivity module, wherein the IR input unit comprises a plurality of switching buttons, wherein the IR input unit recognizes an address of the data from the input module and the wireless connectivity module and provides a switching among the data as per user choice through the remote control unit.

The display box as claimed in claim 1, wherein the touch responsive output module comprises a multi-touch unit, a safety glass for providing a rigid support to the multi-touch unit, a transparent LCD screen housed horizontally behind the safety glass, an illumination panel and a metal housing, wherein the multi-touch unit is connected to the processing unit, wherein a product is placed in a housing between the illumination panel and the transparent LCD screen.
5. The display box as claimed in claim 4, wherein the illumination panel provides a central backlight illumination with equiluminal intensity, wherein the equiluminal intensity results in illumination of each section of the transparent LCD screen equally.
6. The display box as claimed in claim 4, wherein the illumination panel provides an edge illumination.
7. The display box as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sensor module comprises a biometric sensor and a motion sensor, wherein the motion sensor controls an illumination of the transparent LCD screen by detecting a user motion and brightening an illumination light during a user position in front of the display box.

The display box as claim in claim 7, wherein the biometric sensor comprises a face recognition unit and a finger print module, wherein the biometric sensor controls a data input authentication by allowing an authenticated user to access a data input module, wherein a face feature and a fingerprint data of an authenticated user is stored in the memory module.

The display box as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sensor module further comprises an object recognition unit, wherein a memory module stores a shape features of a plurality of objects and information related to each object, wherein the object recognition unit senses an object features for the object place in the display box, invoked the processing unit to fetch a data from the memory module related to the placed object and display over the touch responsive output module.
10. The display box as claimed in claim 1, wherein the touch responsive output module responses to touch by naked finger, a gloved finger and a stylus with touch area of minimum 9 sq.mm. , Description:FORM 2

PREAMBLE OF THE DESCRIPTION:
THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATION PARTICULARLY DESCRIBES THE INVENTION
A) TECHNICAL FIELD OF INVENTION
[001] The present invention generally relates to an electronic display device and particularly relates to a transparent display box for product display. The present invention more particularly relates to a transparent display box with a multimedia input/output control and user selectable information panel.
B) BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[002] Marketing of the products is finding a tough competition in today’s world as products have increased and consumer needs more information. To cater a product information, many organizations use information panels and display in the crowd gathering places. With time, the method of displaying a product information is improving and becoming complex.
[003] One of such technological prior arts discloses a valuable article displaying cabinet combining virtuality and reality, and belongs to the field of display tools. The valuable article displaying cabinet combining virtuality and reality comprises a cabinet body, wherein a rotary display frame is arranged on the bottom surface inside the cabinet body, the front surface of the cabinet body is fixedly connected with a transparent liquid crystal screen, an infrared touch screen is arranged at the outer side of the transparent liquid crystal and fixedly connected with the cabinet body, the bottom of the cabinet body is fixedly connected with a playing box and a power source board, the infrared touch screen is connected with the rotary display frame through the playing box, the transparent liquid crystal screen is connected with the playing box through a wire, and the playing box is connected
with the power source board through a wire. The valuable article displaying cabinet combining virtuality and reality is ingenious in structural design and is convenient to detach, install and repair, people can watch displayed articles in an omni-directional mode, and related data of the displayed articles can be directly displayed on the displaying cabinet.
[004] Another prior art a discloses display system for a product storage device includes a transparent unit having a front panel, a rear panel, and a transparent LCD panel positioned between the front panel and the rear panel. The transparent LCD panel is configured to present visual media content. A lighting element is attached to the transparent unit and configured to provide lighting for both the transparent LCD panel and for products within the product storage device. The lighting element emits light in a direction away from the transparent LCD panel and toward the products within the product storage device. A light guide selectively reflects the light emitted from the lighting element back toward the transparent LCD panel and through the transparent LCD panel to provide backlighting for the transparent LCD panel.
[005] However, the prior arts panels are limited in updating an information dynamically. Further the prior art display systems provide limited user control over the displayed information. Also the prior art display boxes are complex in nature and have specific design for various size of products.
[006] In the view of foregoing, there is a need for a display box for a product promotion with a transparent screen. Also there is a need for a transparent display box with a touch responsive screen and user selectable panel. Further there is a
need for a transparent display box with multi-input features and connectivity enhancement.
[007] The above mentioned shortcomings, disadvantages and problems are addressed herein, as detailed below.
C) OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
[008] The primary object of the present invention is to provide a display box for a product promotion with a transparent screen.
[009] Another object of the present invention is to provide a transparent display box with a touch responsive screen and user selectable panel.
[0010] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a transparent display box with multi-input features and connectivity enhancement.
[0011] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a transparent display box with a rugged structure to house a plurality of range of products. A display owner can change the information through a plurality wired as well as wireless connectivity modes according to the product.
[0012] These and other objects and advantages of the embodiments herein will become readily apparent from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
D) SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0013] The various embodiment of the present invention provide a transparent display box for a product promotion and information display. The display box
comprises an input module, a touch responsive output module, a wireless connectivity module, a sound output module, a memory module, a sensor module and a power input port. The input module with multiple input channels is connected to a processing unit through a plurality of input ports. The touch responsive output module is connected to the processing unit. The touch responsive output module is illuminated through an illumination panel. The wireless connectivity module interchanges a data between a portable computing device and the processing unit. The sound output module comprises a loudspeaker unit functioning in synchronization with a data input via the processing unit. The memory module is connected to the processing unit through a bidirectional data bus. The sensor module is connected to the processing unit for an automated display control. The power input port comprises a battery input port and a main power line input port.
[0014] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the input module comprises a USB port, a HDMI port, a Low-voltage differential signalling (LVDS) port and an external memory card slot. The USB port further comprises a mini-USB port, a USB 2.0 port and a USB 3.0 port. The USB port transfers the product information data from a portable computing device to the processing unit. The LVDS port is connected to a Video Graphics Array (VGA) unit through the processing unit.
[0015] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the input module further comprises an Infrared (IR) input unit with a remote control unit. The processing unit receives a data simultaneously from the input module and the
wireless connectivity module. The IR input unit comprises a plurality of switching buttons. The IR input unit recognizes an address of the data from the input module and the wireless connectivity module and provides a switching among the data as per user choice through the remote control unit.
[0016] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the touch responsive output module comprises a multi-touch unit, a safety glass for providing a rigid support to the multi-touch unit, a transparent LCD screen housed horizontally behind the safety glass, an illumination panel and a metal housing. The multi-touch unit is connected to the processing unit, wherein a product is placed in a housing between the illumination panel and the transparent LCD screen.
[0017] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the illumination panel provides a central backlight illumination with equiluminal intensity. The equiluminal intensity results in illumination of each section of the transparent LCD screen equally.
[0018] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the illumination panel provides an edge illumination.
[0019] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the sensor module comprises a biometric sensor and a motion sensor. The motion sensor controls an illumination of the transparent LCD screen by detecting a user motion and brightening an illumination light during a user position in front of the display box.
[0020] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the biometric sensor comprises a face recognition unit and a finger print module. The biometric
sensor controls a data input authentication by allowing an authenticated user to access a data input module. A face feature and a fingerprint data of an authenticated user is stored in the memory module.
[0021] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the sensor module further comprises an object recognition unit. A memory module stores a shape features of a plurality of objects and information related to each object. The object recognition unit senses an object features for the object place in the display box, invoked the processing unit to fetch a data from the memory module related to the placed object and display over the touch responsive output module.
[0022] According to one embodiment of the present invention, the touch responsive output module responses to touch by naked finger, a gloved finger and a stylus with touch area of minimum 9 sq.mm.

[0046] The present display box provides a new mode of branding with user selectable display option. The said display box comprises multiple input modes and remote controlled output which allows a user to view an information from various wired and wireless thus giving a better customer satisfaction. The said display box is highly compatible with a plurality of device and thus allows an easy data transfers. Due to availability of multiple input options, the present display box facilitates a plug and play enhancement.
[0047] The said display box uses an autonomous intelligence for dynamically changing a data displayed on the touch sensitive output module on the basis of product placed in the box through the object shape recognition unit.
