Abstract: A smart travel bag (100) is disclosed. The smart travel bag (100) is designed to be compact and capable to accommodate essential items selected from a solar panel (102), a location tracking unit (104), a balancing stand (106), and a sitting arrangement (108). The solar panel (102) provides a provision of charging low operated electronic devices. The location tracking unit (104) is embedded within the solar panel (102), to track a traveler carrying the smart travel bag (100). Further, the balancing stand (106) is adapted to balance the smart travel bag (100) when the traveler is using the sitting arrangement (108). The sitting arrangement (108) is adjustable and foldable, to provide relaxation to the traveler whenever it is required during travelling. Claims: 10, Figures: 5 Figure 1A is selected.
Description:BACKGROUND
Field of the invention
[001] Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a travel assistance and particularly to a travel assisting luggage system.
Description of Related Art
[002] Public transportation facilities are increasing day by day that allows a user to travel more frequently to reach to a desired destination. However, due to large percentage of users traveling in a public transport, many a times the user has to wait along with luggage for a longer period of time in order to board the public transport. Usually, the users utilize benches or lounges provided at airports or railway stations for relaxation. However, sometimes the user is unable to get a sitting arrangement for relaxation. Various types of trolleys have been designed that can be used as a relaxation means. However, the users feel uncomfortable to use the trolleys as the relaxation means.
[003] To overcome the aforementioned issues, a suitcase with an integrated seat has been designed. The suitcase comprising a handle, a cushion, and at least two wheels. However, the disclosed suitcase is unable to provide any assistance in case the luggage of the user is stolen. Moreover, the system is unable to provide any provision of charging mobile phones while traveling.
[004] There is thus a need for an improved and advanced travel assisting luggage system that can administer the aforementioned issues in a more efficient manner.
SUMMARY
[005] Embodiments in accordance with the present invention provide a smart travel bag. The smart travel bag comprising: a solar panel attached at a front portion of the smart travel bag, and adapted to charge low operated electronic devices. The smart travel bag further comprising: a location tracking unit embedded within the solar panel, to track a traveler carrying the smart travel bag. The smart travel bag further comprising: a balancing stand extended from a bottom portion of the smart travel bag, to provide a balance to the smart travel bag. The smart travel bag further comprising: a sitting arrangement attached to the balancing stand. The sitting arrangement is adjusted at an optimal height by using a sliding mechanism for providing relaxation to the traveler. The smart travel bag further comprising: shoulder straps attached at a back side of the smart travel bag, to enable the traveler to use the smart travel bag as a shoulder bag. The smart travel bag further comprising: a pair of wheels adapted to provide a facility to the traveler to use the smart travel bag as a trolley bag.
[006] Embodiments of the present invention may provide a number of advantages depending on its particular configuration. First, embodiments of the present application may provide a smart travel bag that is designed to be compact and capable to provide multiple facilities such as, charging mobile phones, tracking a traveler, balancing the smart travel bag, and so forth.
[007] Next, embodiments of the present application may provide a smart travel bag that is provided with a storage compartment having an enough space to store personal belongings of a traveler.
[008] Next, embodiments of the present application may provide a smart travel bag that is provided with wide shoulder straps to provide larger contact surface area for uniform load distribution.
[009] Next, embodiments of the present application may provide a smart travel bag that is provided with a pair of wheels to facilitate a traveler to use the smart travel bag as a trolley bag.

1. A smart travel bag (100), comprising:
a solar panel (102) attached at a front portion of the smart travel bag (100), and adapted to charge low operated electronic devices;
a location tracking unit (104) embedded within the solar panel (102), to track a traveler carrying the smart travel bag (100);
a balancing stand (106) extended from a bottom portion of the smart travel bag (100), to provide a balance to the smart travel bag (100);
a sitting arrangement (108) attached to the balancing stand (106), wherein the sitting arrangement (108) is adjusted at an optimal height by using a sliding mechanism for providing relaxation to the traveler;
shoulder straps (114a-114b) attached at a back side of the smart travel bag (100), to enable the traveler to use the smart travel bag (100) as a shoulder bag; and
a pair of wheels (116a-116b) adapted to provide a facility to the traveler to use the smart travel bag (100) as a trolley bag.
2. The smart travel bag (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the location tracking unit (104) is Global Positioning System (GPS).
3. The smart travel bag (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sitting arrangement (108) is made up of a plastic material.
4. The smart travel bag (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the smart travel bag (100) is made up of a leather material.
5. The smart travel bag (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pair of wheels (116a-116b) are made up of a plastic material.
6. The smart travel bag (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the shoulder straps (114a-114b) of the smart travel bag (100) are designed to be broad to provide larger contact surface area for uniform load distribution.
7. The smart travel bag (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprising a storage compartment (110) having an enough space to store personal belongings of the traveler.
8. The smart travel bag (100) as claimed in claim 7, wherein the storage compartment (110) comprises a fastening means (112) to be opened or closed to load and/or unload items into and/or from the storage compartment (110).
9. The smart travel bag (100) as claimed in claim 8, wherein the fastening means (112) is a zipper.
10. The smart travel bag (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the balancing stand (106) provides the balance to the smart travel bag (100) when the traveler is using the sitting arrangement (108).
