Valve Device

Abstract: Provided is a valve device configured so that the inclusion of the wear debris of the valve shaft into fluid is prevented and so that a variation in the flow rate is minimized. A valve device (14) is provided with a valve box (5) a valve shaft (8) a first flexible film (13) and a second flexible film (16). The valve box is provided with an inlet opening (2) and an outlet opening (3) and has formed therein a space for containing fluid. The valve shaft is inserted through a through hole (10) formed in the wall of the valve box and moves in the longitudinal direction of the through hole to move a valve body (7) which blocks the flow of the fluid from the inlet opening (2) to the outlet opening (3). The first flexible film has an insertion hole through which the valve shaft is inserted. The outer peripheral end of the first flexible film is affixed to the peripheral edge of the through hole and the peripheral edge of the insertion hole of the first flexible film is affixed to the outer periphery of the valve shaft. Thus the gap between the through hole and the valve shaft is closed. The second flexible film forms a part of the wall of the valve box (5).
