Address Proof, ID proof along with Photo ID of the applicant are required for GST registration in India. Additionally, a Board Resolution and partnership deed are required in case of a company and partnership.

Utility bill of the applicant will work as an address proof. The following will be acceptable:
- Electricity Bill
- Water Bill
- Landline Bill
ID Proof
Aadhar card and Voter Id of the applicant will act as Identity proof
Remember: The applicant needs to submit PAN card separately and will not act as identity proof.
Registered Office Proof
- Non-Objection certificate(NOC) from the owner of the property.
- Rent agreement if in case the premise is rented.
- If you own the property then sale deed
Digital Signature Certificate
Every GST registration requires Class-2 DSC to sign the GST registration form. Hence if you are applying for GST yourself you should possess a class 2 registration before submitting the form.
In Case of a Company

- Rent Agreement if the premises is rented
- NOC from the owner of the property
- If you own the property then electricity bill and water bill

In Case of a Foreign Company
A company that is incorporated outside India and has a place of business in India or by itself or through an agent needs to provide following documents along with the common documents for companies.

Proof of Constitution of business
- Certificate of establishment
Proof of Principle place of business
- Electricity Bill
- Legal ownership of the document
- Property tax receipt
Details of Bank Account
- The first page of passbook

- Letter of Authorisation
- Copy of board resolution passed by managing Committee
