Abstract: [Problem] To provide an aqueous antibacterial dispersion comprising a metal pyrithione salt and a cationic polymer the antibacterial dispersion being capable of maintaining a stable dispersed state. [Solution] An antibacterial dispersion characterized by comprising at least one cationic polymer at least one metal pyrithione salt and at least one non anionic surfactant. By adding a non anionic surfactant in place of a conventional anionic component in an aqueous dispersion of a metal pyrithione salt it is possible to maintain good dispersion stability in a cationic polymer mixture.
