Abstract
The present disclosure relates to the field of diagnosing foot inflammation. The envisaged system is compact, portable and light in weight. The system includes a hollow box, at least one sensor, an image capturing device, and an electronic unit. At least one sensor and the image capturing device are disposed within the hollow box, and are placed opposite to each other. The at least one sensor is configured to detect the placement of both the feet of the user. The image capturing device is configured to capture a thermal image of both the feet. The electronic units is configured to receive the thermal image, from the image capturing device, and is further configured to analyze the received thermal image to determine the presence of foot inflammation by identifying asymmetric hot spots on the corresponding portions of the left foot and the right foot.
