Ar App For Monuments

Abstract

Our solution is an AR application for visitors so that they can travel over the cultural bequest of India. The app enables users to scan historical monuments and retrieve momentous information from their smartphones itself. The application will have a uncomplicated, effortless interface. There is an extra exciting feature called “Customize your tour guide”.It also offers the possibility for social interaction among the various users accessing them. This starts with an in-built camera device like smartphones. As soon as the tourist scans the monuments, it starts recognizing the monument using image recognition tools by being acquainted with its shape or marker attached to it. This application connects with the 3D duplication available in the cloud storage. The geo-location is a prime factor of this app. Android Studio is an IDE which incorporates all SDK tools and assists them to handle them in a more convenient manner. Image recognition tools forms a bridge between virtual worlds with real world. If administrators are careless in their work, it leads to insecurity and client dissatisfaction. Department of Tourism must perform a proper quality check. As the app works on geolocation, the location must be enabled before scanning. Lack of stable network can lead to app malfunction. It can also be highly enlightening and educative about a particular spot which interest more tourists to visit that spot. It serves as a personal tour guide.
